I have stayed in some of the best hotels in the world, visiting some of the top notch resorts and experiencing some of their wonderful luxury suites. They are all somehow different, but there is one thing that makes your stay memorable: the service. You can stay at a wonderful top luxury hotel, but if the service is just average, your visit won’t be memorable for sure.Vila Vita Parc in Algarve highly exceeded my expectations. This beatiful 5-star luxury resort located in Algarve, south region of Portugal, famous for it’s beatiful beaches, provided an unforgettable stay last month, being one of the best hotels I’ve stayed for a while, mostly due it’s oustanding and remarkable service. And now I can understand why so many awards were given to this property: Europe Most Romantic Resort 2014 and World Leading Luxury Green Resort 2015 while never forgetting their wonderful 2-star michelin restaurant Ocean, one of the three available in the whole country. We were granted one of their best suites, The Grand Suite with 65sqm and garden view. The whole resort features 21 hectars (54 acres), facing the ocean and the beach, and with 170 rooms and suites. Their prices vary, depending on the chosen room and period of the year, but our luxurious suite has an approx price per night of 1000EUR. Vila Vita Parc is also a proud member of the Leading Hotels of the World (LHW). Upon arrival at Vila Vita Parc we were immediately greeted by the Assistant of the General Manager, who welcomed us to their hotel. Escorted to our room, that was ready for our stay, we received compliments of the management and marketing team with a nice welcome drink, a Grand Cuvet Vintage 2011 and some sweets. The suite was very comfortable, with two complete bathrooms, one large living room, one bedroom, walking closet and large safebox. WiFi was available 24/7 on the rooms with great connectivity.
Other great thing I found on this hotel, was the fact that the hotel always looked empty, although being almost full. I believe that’s due the fact of their size, guests are spread around the property and that gives a very quiet feeling of the resort. They offer 9 restaurants and 5 bars, with a great variety. We have tried both the “Adega Restaurant” and the “Wine Cellar”. This last one, the wine cellar, was a wonderful experience, that I decided to write a separate review featuring this wonderful gourmet experience.
A big special thanks to all team from Vila Vita Parc for such a memorable stay at Vila Vita Parc. I’m sure your hard work everyday is the reason why your hotel keeps such an awesome rating and loved by so many people across the world.
Cannot forget about a special thanks to Katya, for all assistance preparing our stay, but also to Mr Vila Nova Assistant from the General Manager during our stay, Mr Domingos and Mr Vitor from reception and also Mr Oscar Correia, F&B Director for all his assistance during our stay and during our meals. All staff from the Wine Cellar also made that a very special moment.
